Classic Half-Day Tour: Château

Experience the grandeur of Versailles with our classic introductory tour where you will discover the State Apartments, including the Hall of Mirrors, and then the Dauphin & Mesdames' rococo apartments on the ground floor. We recommend savouring a delightful lunch at the Alain Ducasse Oré restaurant. After lunch we offer a short overview of the formal gardens.

Classic Full-Day Tour: Château & Gardens

Our expert led tour begins with a timed entrance to the State Apartments including the Hall of Mirrors and the ground floor rococo apartments . We then tour of the Petit Park. We suggest lunch at the restaurant La Flotille overlooking the Grand Canal. During the high season, enjoy the Fountain Displays (Grandes Eaux Musicale).
For added convenience, you may opt for a dedicated car service, or choose a golf cart ride at an additional cost of €45 for the first 45 minutes (subject to wait times). Extend your journey with a tour of the Petit Trianon and the Jardin Anglais, where extra golf cart time is available in 10-minute increments, or enjoy a Petit Train ride at €8 per person.

Classic: Grand Trianon & Gardens

As soon as Louis XIV began to visit Versailles in the 1660s, he dreamed of a place to escape from court where he could entertain his mistresses and favorite courtiers. The Grand Trianon, conceived as an Italian Villa with an open loggia, recalls the King’s desire to be out of doors in order to enjoy his gardens. Louis XV sejourned at the Grand Trianon, and then built two smaller pavillons, the French pavillon and the Petit Trianon, where he dedicated himself to horticulture and gardening. this tour of the Domaine de Trianon, away from the crowds at the château.

Premium: The King's Private Apartements

This tour is private timed access and includes a tour of the State Apartments (Hall of Mirrors) Louis XV created a suite of rooms designed for his personal use located behind the glass doors of the Hall of Mirrors. Louis XIV displayed his collections of artworks and paintings here but his grandson Louis XV created new chambers, his offices, dining rooms, libraries, and gambling room.
This tour requires an additional fee.

Premium: The King's Private Apartements & Garden Tour

This tour is private timed access and includes a tour of the State Apartments (Hall of Mirrors) Louis XIV created a suite of rooms designed for his personal use located behind the glass doors of the Hall of Mirrors. These apartments allowed Louis XV to enjoy a certain amount of privacy. Louis XVI, in turn, adapted these spaces to his own purposes including a dining and gambling room. After lunch (either in the château or in the gardens) we tour the grandiose Petit Park. During the high season, enjoy musical fountain shows.

Exclusive: Queen & Mistresses

This tour offers an insiders view to court life. Three separate apartments that once belonged to Queen Marie Antoinette, the Marquise de Pompadour and Madame du Barry, each revealing the private lives of these powerful women, can each be visited individually upon request with an expert guide. After visiting one of the pre-selected private suites, you can visit the State Apartments and the former apartments of Louis XV’s aunts, Mesdames, as well as the apartments of the Dauphin, the intended heir. For history and art history lovers, this tour offers a unique opportunity to see rococo craftsmanship in furniture design and porcelains. After visiting the chateau, you may continue the tour in the gardens.
